The next 1.3 alpha release

So, I was thinking that the next 1.3 alpha release would just be a snapshot of the current cvs head. I think we should release it, do the SVN migration of all the projects, then dig into the remaining 1.3 work for release. Any opinions or thoughts on this subject? -Mark -

log4j 1.2.12rc6 release

Re: 1.2.12rc5 Build

I took a shot at using a replaceregexp task in build.xml to strip out the "Generate by javadoc on..." comments in the generate Javadoc. That much worked, but the jar file still has embedded timestamps so my goal of having a completely reproducible distribution appears to be unachievable.
