I don't have a strong opinion about this, mainly since I am not native
English speaking and I have learned some mixture of British and American
English myself.
However, I think that we should at least try to be consistent in the
spelling of each word.

English, Proto-Bantu, whatever. I just it's lame and not very pro to have a
mix IMO
