but sometimes they bundle all the platform-specific bits into the same
archive... like the NTEventLogAppender.dll in the root of the
apache-log4j-1.2.15 distribution...

so I don't know. NTEvenLogAppender is the only piec
I don't use the [optional] NTEventLogAppender, but, as I understand it, the
native binary bundled with it works on 32 bit platforms. If you want a 64 bit
one, you'll have to obtain the source and compile it yourself.
