Is there a workaround for that? I mean this can't be intended behaviour :)
But as I interpret your answer, this has most likely something to do with
the Mono Framework, not with log4net, right?

Hello again!
I'm sorry, I messed the words a little, I don't want to
activate/deactivate loggers but the appenders directly (TCP Appender, UDP
Appender and so on)
or better the person I'm doing this for wants to ;-)
