Log::Dispatch::FileRotate is a 3rd party module, written by Mark
Pfeiffer. Bcc:ing him.
According to the documentation compression on the todo list:
=head1 TODO
compression, signal based rotates, proper test suite
Alternatively, you can use an external rotator:
