Imperial College London Department of Computing Imperial College Research Fellowships Competitive Salary and Attractive Research Package
The Department of Computing at Imperial College London invites talented early career researchers to apply for Imperial College London Research Fellowships. This scheme is comparable to an Assistant Research Professorship and provides funding for 4 years to conduct independent research within the research environments of our department, college and the entire cohort of successful fellows. The fellowship offers a competitive salary and attractive research package, support for mentoring, career management, and development opportunities. The ideal fellow will have an excellent academic track record, evidence of leadership potential, be an effective communicator, and have a compelling research vision with a challenging program of research for the 4-year period of the fellowship. The department values to receive strong proposals in all research areas in or pertaining to Computer Science, in foundational or more applied aspects of the discipline. Applicants need to identify a host, who is a permanent member of our academic staff. We therefore encourage prospective applicants to contact potential hosts to discuss an application and proposed fellowship proposal with them. Alternatively, you may send an expression of interest to our departmental Director of Research at doc-...@imperial.ac.uk. The Department of Computing is one of the largest Computing departments in the UK, and is a world leader in academic research in Computer Science. Its research has been ranked in the top three in the UK in the Research Excellence Framework undertaken by the Higher Education funding Council for England in 2014.
