My quest to get Perl mentioned in a BBC TV programme succeeded -- this was on BBC4 on Monday: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00rm4j1 The bit with Perl is from 21:05 (or start at 17:30 for an explanation). It's repeated tonight at 19:30 for anybody who prefers watching on an actual television. S
