k Mum uses web-based stuff, WordPerfect, and scanning. I'm
guessing that the laptop hardware is of a similar vintage to XP itself.
Have a look at zorin it's pretty much designed to replace windows with
windows users in mind, a number of my friends have made the jump form XP
to this.
