---------- Forwarded message ----------

This week's CUCS talk will be delivered by Dave Green, editor of UK
internet newsletter "NTK" (http://www.ntk.net/).

"Exploitable Vulnerabilities In The Mainstream And Technology Media" -

Do you need to actually hack someone else's computer to get your
name in the papers? Or are journalists still dumb enough to believe
any old mad tech-related story? (and featuring hilarious true-life
  examples!)

The talk will take place this Wednesday (the 13th) at 8:30 in the
Hopkinson lecture theatre, the location of which is shown here:

http://www.cam.ac.uk/map/v3/drawmap.cgi?mp=nmus;xx=137;yy=312;mt=c;tl=Hopkinson%20Lecture%20Theatre

The doors are locked out of hours, so a committee member will be present
to let you in. Please try to be on time, as access after the talk starts
may be impossible.

You can catch us in the Anchor from about 10pm if you miss the talk.
