The usual Unicode error from bad input is "Malformed UTF-8". This is

googleing may have matched

Hi All,
I'm wondering if someone could give me a hand, I'm
trying to support my Text::vCard module and have someone
with a problem that I don't understand.
I've got it down so I now have a test case,
if I run it on Debian perl 5.8 it works fine.
