Dear LSR colleagues,

      We have recently submitted a draft to augment ietf-topology Yang model to
include IS-IS information, which was not covered in the different topology
yangs.

      The use case that the drafts is targeted is exporting the topology of
network domains from a controller/NMS to planning applications and perform
what-if scenario analysis. Information such as the IS-IS level is required to
fully understand the network topology.

     We would appreciate feedback and comments on the draft.

Mmmm sounds challenging.

The prefix in the YANG module must be the same as that specified in the IANA
Considerations.

The prefixes used in the YANG module do not match those in Section 1.4

    import ietf-isis {
       prefix "ietf-isis";
       reference
         "RFC 6991: Common YANG Data Types";
I see no ietf-isis in RFC6991; in fact, I see no ietf-isis prefix anywhere in
IETF documents.
(Imported modules should use the prefix from the module definition).

I find single use groupings an unnecessary complication in understanding a
module.

The descriptions of the 'when' clauses is at odds with the description there
of. I suspect that the when clauses are incorrect.

Somewhat challenging:-(

Tom Petch

     Best Regards,

           Oscar

Abstract:
   This document defines a YANG data model for representing an abstract
   view of the provider network topology that contains Intermediate
   System to intermediate System (ISIS) information. This document
   augments the 'ietf-network' data model by adding ISIS concepts.

   The YANG data model defined in this document conforms to the Network
   Management Datastore Architecture (NMDA).
