Hi,
It happens to me sometimes too. It's usually a floppy problem. Try changing
the floppy or the floppy drive. Try burning the image in a different drive too.
Hope it helps,
Dario.

I noticed that the documentation at:
http://www.ltsp.org/documentation/ltsp-3.0.0/ltsp-3.0.html#AEN421
says to create the boot floppy by doing this:
"cat /tmp/eb-5.0.2-centaur-p.lzdsk /dev/fd0"
I believe that if you try it this way, it would produce a bad boot
floppy.
Start with a fresh flo

Ever since I upgraded KDE I've been plagued with these little hang-up.
How do I get rid of the Redhat logo in the top left corner of the login
Screen? It used to be the ltsp logo which I had replaced with a company
logo. I can find the place to get rid of the blasted thing.
Thanks
Matt
look in /etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup (assuming we're talking about xdm)
You'll see the image file in that script.

Hello,
I am trying with one server to server about 150 clients with LTSP running on
Redhat 7.2. Is there a way in which I can add a second network card, and
have one network card server half the computers, and the other network card
serve the other half of the lab? I imagine there is, however,

*** How far have you gotten? This first step is to get the second network
card in your system and configured with it's own ip-address (say
192.168.1.254). Have you done this yet?

John and Brian,
I've tried booting a diskless computer over a WAN.
It's not pretty :(
The problem I ran into was with having the root filesystem
over NFS.
NFS uses a blocksize of 4k or 8k, depending on the version, and the MTU
is only 1500 bytes. This causes all NFS blocks to be fragmented.

Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if there was any interest in porting ltsp to Freebsd? I

is so easy to use compared to
