I have the Xvesa server and the font server working, but I cant get the font server to
work under Xvesa.
I noticed Xvesa does not have a file comparable to rc.setupx or rc.setupx3.
How do I set this up?

James,
I've seen this happen on when running VMware displaying
on the LTSP workstation.
The answer was either using hwcursor or swcursor, I don't
remember which, but it was an option in the XF86Config
file.
I think that was back with X3.3.6. I'm using X4.1.0 now,
and I don't have any problem.

Novara,
I forgot to ask - What distro are you running? Or more specifically, what version of
dhcpd are you running?
As for the tftp, are you sure that it is installed on the server?

Novara,
You might want to verify that dhcpd is in fact running.
Try $ netstat -an | grep ":67" to see if it is running. You should see something like
"udp0 0 0.0.0.0:67 0.0.0.0:*"
If you don't then dhcpd is probably not running. You might want to post your
dhcpd.conf h

One of my clients runs extremely slow. After the login prompt comes, I
enter the login name. Now when I hit TAB to go to the password prompt it
takes almost 2-3 minutes. After I login, KDE also takes time to load and
menus, icons and applications take a long time to get refreshed.
