Is there a script I can run to recreate the XF86Config without rebooting? I
make changes then I have to reboot the terminals to get them to remake the
config files.

Mickael,
Yes, you can use a USB mouse. There's a document on the LTSP.org
contrib page describing how to do it. The doc is a bit dated,
but the bulk of what you need is there.
The main thing is you need to load a couple of kernel modules
to get at the USB mouse.

Is there support for USB mice? I tried changing the mouse device in the
lts.conf to /dev/usbmouse, but that makes X fail. I did a ls and there was
no /dev/usbmouse. Any suggestions on getting this to work?
This mouse on other linux machines is /dev/usbmouse and uses IMPS/2.
Thanks,

Michael;
I bought two thin clients that work great and boot
via PXEboot. Each one was considered "bare bones"
and required opening the case and adding a memory
stick, but they both booted after that. Check out

it would seem that you should be able to boot from

This is my first time using LTSP and I am having a problem that I can find
no docs to help with. Everything seems to go fine until the workstation
attempts to mount the root filesystem at which point it hangs. Is this a
permission problem?

Hi David,
I wasn't clear enough, backspace behaves like delete, it deletes the character to the
right. And I want it to delete to the left.
The numeric values are BKSP = 22, DELE = 107. How can I get backspace to work as it
should?
