It looks like the PCI scan program in LTSP is incorrectly reporting a Gigabit Ethernet chipset (82546EB). This chipset is supported by the Intel e1000 driver. The LTSP configuration program that scans the PCI bus is incorrectly supporting this PCI device as an e100. My guess is that you are using t

You might look at the Enhanced Network Block Device (ENBD). We recently had removeable media support added to it to support floppy and cdrom devices. This will allow you to remotely access CDROMs and floppies on your workstations. Should work with formatting them too (floppies, anyway). Joseph
