Has anybody tried/used the NS Geode GX Thin clients?
They are made by National Semiconductor, with thier own processor, it seems like they
are very good value only (£120)/($180), I was wondering if anyone had had any success
with them, or whether i should look elsewhere?

I have an infra-red receiver that works with XMMS (using IRMan plug-in)
which plugs into the serial port. Can I make use of this on my terminal?
Since I am in X, /dev/ttyS0 is that of the server, and not the terminal.
