Thanks Anselm Martin, for your speedy reply, the
problem due to client entry not present in /etc/hosts
file, once I entered that, works fine!

We want to be able to plug two or more keyboards into our thin clients
(ie: UK keyb, FR Keyb, CH Keyb) as our punters in the cybercafe freak
out when they see a French keyboard. It appears that the usbkbd module
is broken or doesn't work. Can anyone shed any light on this?
Firstly thanks for the responses to my last email.
I have tried XkbLayout = gb XkbModel = pc105.
Which did not work.
I have installed a second LTSP system, which worked.
I copied the lts.conf file from the non working system to the working one.
Keyboard change works.
Now very confused!

Well, i got the UK usb keyboards working, but the kde international
keyboard swpper tool appears broken. When run it says Error XKBComp
can't find aliases file on the console of the ltsp terminal?
Ideas welcome.

Hi
I've recently installed an LTSP on RedHat 9. I'm using Via Eden based
thin clients with PXE booting, which in turn boot Etherboot to boot an
LTSP kernel. The onboard NIC on the Via's are Realtek's 8139.
When I boot the thin client over a crossover link everything is working
just fine.
somebody got this working ? According to the docs, this should be supported
in xfree 4.2.0, but when i set XSERVER to auto, then i get the nice message
to specify the correct XSERVER in lts.conf

Can someone tell me where I can set the umask for ltsp users?
It seems to be different than for users that log onto the server
I want to set the default permissions for users to allow group read/write (it seems
to default to read only)
