Hi,
LTSP works fine with SuSE 9.0 - only in the directory ltsp_core you've
got to add a symlink:
ln -s suse.sh suse-9.0.sh
Perhaps Jim can add this in the official download-file.
Kind regards

Hello all,
in the company we are using several ltsp-terminals booting from HP 9000
Servers
Type K260, D250, D350 etc.
They are all running mwm.
Now one of them persistently refuses the connection, although this server
has been
installed with the same HP-UX OperationSystem attributes.

Kevin,
Etherboot simply does NOT support pcmcia.
If you want to use a laptop with LTSP, you need to start
with the wireless_ltsp package. It contains the drivers you
need for pcmcia network cards (wired and wireless).
With this, you'll actually be booting the kernel from a floppy,

I have another laptop that I would like to add as a thin client to LTSP. It
has a pcmcia card that is a "Linksys Etherfast 10/100 pc card(pcm100v2)".
Can someone direct me as to what ROM selection should be used on
"rom-o-matic.net"? Also, how to get the boot disk to look for the pcmcia
card?
I am attempting to add a Sony laptop on the network as a thin client. It has
an Intel etherEpress Pro/100 pcmcia card. I found the boot ROM loader at
rom-o-matic, made the floppy, but when it boots, it says:
Probing pci nic...
Probing isa nic...
over and over again. Apparently, it is not ch
I've currently been using LTSP in conjuction with Rudy Hermawan's WILI System

currently supports high color connections and sound. It works wonderfully on my RH9
system. I started by compiling and copying ove

Make sure you don't haveUSE_XFS = Y
Instead, you want USE_XFS = N
OR, if you know how to configure your X font server for remote
fonts, do that.
I recommend that you set USE_XFS = N
