Hi,
just about looking for some ideas to make the admin's life easier :-)
I'm setting up an LTSP server for students' computers. That means, about
100 accounts on 24 terminals. There are mainly 2 printers one of which
must be chosen via a script on login for the client machine. When the

I'm trying to build LBE and make some extra packages for it, but
without success. I've tried it twice (2nd time, after a ./build_all

as I could b4.
The school network is 192.168.0.1 gateway. As it is for standard Windows

1) Was Staroffice installed as a net install (meaning each user gets
him/her own settings)?
2) This problem (in Oo) is usually caused by two users having the same

Alex,
Check the lts.conf file, and make sure that 'SERVER' is pointing to the

Hi All :
Somebody installed StarOffice 7 on a LTSP before?
Every user that starts StarOffice 7 gets a message saying the "personal
settings are locked".
The home directories are mounted via NCP (kind of nfs but for Novell shares)
If I click OK the application starts and seems to work just fine...
