it won’t start up – it has stalled just after starting X server.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
Matthew.

Hello,
to add German keyboard mappings on the thin client I have done the
following:
in lts.conf I added:
RCFILE_01 = keymaps
KEYMAP = /usr/lib/kbd/keymaps/de-latin1-nodeadkeys
copy "keymaps" to /etc/rc.d
here is the contend of keymaps:
cat keymaps
. /etc/ltsp_functions
All keyboard layouts via switcher work except Arabic
keyboard layout - basic. If you try to navigate
through the defined layouts an "err" appears instead
of "AR" on keyboard layout applet.
LTSP Version: 4.2 update-3
OS: Fedora Core 4
Desktop: KDE 3.5.3
on lts.conf, I have these entries:
I followed the steps in the wiki for creating a FC5 root under
/var/opt/muekow, and I've exported it as a NFS share, but now what? Do
I install lstp like usual?
Thanks

I think I'm getting close. I set my pxelinux.cfg/default to boot the
vmlinuz and initrd I copied from /opt/muekow/i386/boot
my pxelinux.cfg:
default linux
prompt 1
timeout 1
label linux
kernel vmlinuz
append initrd=initrd.img init=disklessrc root=/dev/nfs
NFSROOT=192.168.1.5:/opt/muekow/i
