There seems to be a problem with older hardware and pulseaudio (also with pulseaudio 0.9.14: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/396709 - we had the same problem). I am not sure if the bug is caused by pulse or some ltsp stuff.
