I had some problems with some newer thin clients using ATI's X1200.
Xrandr didn't work, I got the same frequency error. The monitor sent
it's modeline correctly via DDC, but somehow it didn't work. For those
machines I disabled xrandr and used

- We had configured LTSP 4.2 on RHEL 5 Updte 3 x86_64
- Clients are booting normally
- But we tried to start sshd on thin-client it is not started
to start sshd on thin client we do following in lts.conf file
LOCAL_APPS = Y
and restarted workstation. But we are not ssh to the workstation
