You could write a script that deletes out the ~/.config/monitors.xml
file. If you set it to run on logout, you'll still have a problem if
users don't log out and just kill the thin client, since the file will
stay there until their next log in. On the other hand, if you set it

Hey all,
Over the summer, I decided to switch to Xfce for a lighter-weight
desktop experience. Unfortunately, I'm having a problem getting it
working, just on my server.
Local users work fine, and LDAP users work fine using "su" or "ssh",
but when I try to log in at the GUI with a user from the L

recently switched one of my installations over to Debian LTSP (Debian Wheezy).
Ubuntu LTSP uses NBD and Debian uses NFS. I've been pleased with some of the
advantages of using LTSP with NFS.
With Ubuntu NBD LTSP it
Thank you both for your help.
I was able to get Matt's solution to work by adding the desired starting
page to the bash file like this
#!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/chromium-browser localhost
Jim, I wasn't able to get yours to work. Does the file need an extension?
And the folders you specified in the pat
