Normally, you don't write your own XF86Config for the client.
The file is dynamically constructed by using the info in the
../etc/lts.conf file
You can(!) define a separate XF86Config file, but it is not necessar

I need some of the alsa tools for my soundcard. (alsamixer,
envy24control). So the software must run on the thin cliuent locally
within the remotely mounted ltsp environment.
As the binary versions don't run when I copy them into the ltsp system,
I want to compile them.

I have been using ltsp for a long time.
Recently, I updated to 4.1 and to the new kernel.
Everything works fine - except one thing:
The modules get not tested and loaded automatically.
E.g. I have usb.
And no usb module is loaded automatically.
However, they load fine if I define the modules
