no error even though /tmp is chmod 1777. sshd on the client is openssh ver 3.7.1p2, while on the server its 3.9p1 I'm thinking about moving the 3.9 version into the /opt/ltsp/i386 tree, but there are a lot of libraries to find and move with it. Any other ideas? Thanks, John --- J
