Can I mount another filesystem by nfs? I try from the diskless computer
mount 172.16.0.8:/var/ftp/pub /ftp (I create the ftp folder, of course)
but it give me the follow error:
portmap: server localhost not responding, timed out
lockd_up: makesock failed, error = -5
And fro
Well. the deamon is in /etc/init.d/xfs
but you have to /etc/x11/fs/config
and the comment the line:
no-listen = tcp

I dont remember rihgt now exactly but in /proc/sys/net...
there is an entry with this name. You got to increment this value.
