on is if theres a howto telling him how he can share
the workstations serial port over the network, so that i will be
accessible from the server... however i think that the best answer for
this is: Don't do it, run jpilot as local app.

Simply setup xdm/gdm/kdm (whatever you are using) to listen on TCP
without starting up X on the
