Hi!
IÂve very big problems with some old HP Vetra XU90. I connect them via 3c905C
NICs.
The problem I have is that those clients arenÂt able to manage 100 Mbit
Traffic correctly. First problem occured was the NFS pivot mount Problem
which I solved by editing the UDP packet Size. But as it seem
How to edit the linuxrd:
gunzip /tftpboot/lts/2.4.26-ltsp-2/initrd-2.4.26-ltsp-2.gz
mount -o loop /tftpboot/lts/2.4.26-ltsp-2/initrd-2.4.26-ltsp-2 /mnt/iso

Hangs at the pivot root if the network is plugged via switch, but it works if
I connect the clients via Hub to the server.
Exactly the same NIC's work in "newer" machines very well...

Hi!
I am also hanging with the problem that some clients can't do the
pivot_root...
I saw that it doesn't really depend on the NIC, but on the combination of
NIC's in certain clients. Because one and the same nic works fine in "newer"
clients, but won't work in older ones (HP Vectra XU, 90Mhz
