Hi All,

This is the formal announcement of the #k12ltsp channel on the Freenode
irc network. To join the channel use the normal "/join #k12ltsp"
command.

This is just another channel like ltsp, with a different orientation.

Paraphrased from the James Mayfield's original proposal in the
k12osn email list:

For educators and school staff who use LTSP/K12LTSP talking about folks
freaking out when their word processor has a different splash screen
(OOo vs MS office), what holes there are in the edu linux software world
and how we might collaborate to fill them

This channel gives the LTSP community a different venue to use when
discussing LTSP issues that are not so acutely involved in getting
ltsp running, but more along the lines of arranging/managing/training
a newly enabled k12ltsp school community to use and become comfortable
with their new tools.

Separating this discussion stream out of the busy #ltsp channel may help
both discussions be more productive. (we hope).

Enjoy y'all.
