Sorry, I have been elsewhere since last e-mail.
I tested that patch in one of the servers and it works now perfectly.
I think that you should post that into Ubuntu wiki or some other
place, because there are probably some other people struggling with
this problem.

Okay, i think i got it. I am able to unlock the dialog through a ssh
connection, i assume that it will be the same for remote X.
Apply this patch:
