Tom I like to inform you that I am not using isa nic
or pci nic the nic is built-in.
The problem I am facing is the following messages
DHCP MAC ADDR: 00 C0 4F 40 D5 18
CLIENT IP: 192.168.0.112 MASK:255.255.255.0 DHCP IP:

I see another problem. The 3c509b is an isa nic. It will not be detected by
the server. Also, the 3c509b is isa pnp; isa pnp has to be turned off. As
Jake points out, if the nic is in fact a 3c905b, it should be detected
because the 3c905b is a pci nic.

Please describe what error is happening! I am guessing your issue is
with DHCP at the moment, so please try to boot your client while running
"tail -f /var/log/messages" and watching what is happening on the
server. The 3c905b should be automatically detected by the kernel, and
that is not an iss
