I've upgraded from ltsp-4 to ltsp-4.1, I did a fresh install. I have 4
workstations and all, but one boot fine under ltsp-4.1. Here is what I'm
getting on the workstation that won't boot. It's booting with PXE.

Running /linuxrc
Mounting /proc
linuxrc: Installing e1000 driver
modprobe e1000
/sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.4.26-ltsp-2/kernel/drivers/net/e1000/e1000.o
Using /lib/modules/2.4.26-ltsp-2/kernel/drivers/net/e1000/e1000.o
Symbol version prefix ''
Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Driver - version 5.2.30.1-K1
Copyright (c) 1999-2004 Intel Corporation.
PCI: Found IRQ 15 for device 00:08.0
PCI: Sharing IRQ 15 with 00:10.0
eth0: Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Connection
Running dhcpd on port 67
e1000: eth0 NIC Link is Up 100 Mbps Full Duplex

After this I get a 60 second delay before the following error comes on the
screen and then the computer hangs.

ERROR! dhcpd failed!

Kernel panic: Attempted to kill init!

This workstation worked fine with ltsp-4. Is there maybe a problem with
the e1000 module in the 2.4.26 kernel that ltsp-4.1 is using? All my
other workstations boot, but none have the PRO/1000 NIC and so aren't
using the e1000 module. Any ideas why this won't boot?

Doing some more testing I've found that the workstation will boot if I use
the 2.4.24 kernel and modules I was using with ltsp-4. So it may be a
problem with the e1000 module in 2.4.26.
