You should set password in ltsp chroot, ssh to the client and try to get more info. command "ps ax| grep ssh| grep socket" on the client should give you some hints about what hangs ldm session You should get something like 1872 pts/0Ss+7:26 /usr/bin/ssh -X -t -M -S /var/run/ldm_socket_vt

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I've got a fresh LTSP5 install that's working fine, except that when a user logs out (or even shuts down the workstation) the ssh session and the X11 tunnel associated with it doesn't get released. At the next login attempt, ldm comes up f
