local hard drive booting:
If you intall linux to the local hard drive, you can
load the lilo bootable ROM image with LILO
If you install DOS to the local hard drive, you can
load the DOS executable ROM image with autoexec.bat
quite simple with both cases 8)

or at least very close.

I guess I cannot simply dd the floppy contents on
this /boot partition !!! Then say lilo to update
the MBR !?!?

I have used LTSP for a year. It works very well!

Now I don't want to use these boot floppies anymore!
I'd like WS
to boot from the local HD cause I have 10 Go per WS.
I don't wan't (can't) use NIC EEPROM.
