Hi guys,
I've just purchased a LNE100TX etherboot card from
www.disklessworkstations.com. I'm trying to install it in a Boundless
Viewpoint TC 125 dumb terminal. After the machine completes the POST, I
should see the following messages:
Bootrom v1.6
Etherboot/32 Version 5.01....
Found ADMtek......
Probing.....
Searching for server (DHCP).....
I do not receive these messages. The only thing I get is a blinking cursor in
the upper left corner of the screen. I know the card works because I do
receive the messages when I put it in a PC. I've contacted Boundless to see
if there is a BIOS upgrade available with no luck. Interestingly, I do see
traffic from the card to the server using tcpdump. However as I've said, I
cannot see anything on the screen except a blinking cursor.
I desperately would like to find a solution as our company has over six
hundred of these. If I can't get it to work, we'll have to resort to buying
PC's and using Microsloth products. Help please!!
