Sure, that would be neat - I mentioned that in a previous message. You
could write a script that waits for a USB drive to automount, then uses
a SSH private keyfile to authenticate to the server. You can skip the
display manager, and go right into the session. X11 forwarding will
handle most eve

ssh X port dorwading and run gdm through it, s imple
