Mike- there is very little hassle beyond building the openmosix kernel itself when set up in via LTSP. Use lstpa(?) utility from the LTSP contribs to coppy teh omdiscd to the ltsp export and set it ina script to be called at client boot. Client setup and migrating. evan On Sat, 9 Oct 2004

Folks, Can anyone offer any advise on LTSP clustering. I'm looking to deploy a number of LTSP servers and was wondering if I should use OpenMOSIX. I plan to configure the clients to find an XDM server via broadcast. In theory, on the law of averages this should roughly balance the load out.

Well i am still trying to get OpenMosix to run on my terminals i have just compiled the new 2.4.19-om7 kernel om my RedHat 8, and else i did what the new LTSP+openmosix said to do and now i am booting the client, with only one error ws001: Resolver error 0 (no error) everything else looks fine
