Howdy This potential problem occurred to me when answering the last question about specifying unique configuration options for specific terminals.
We have two LTSP implementations we look after. The old one has a dhcpd.conf file with the hard-coded MAC addresses in the file for each host, with each stanza specifying the host's name. The second implentation uses the pxestuff-3.0.5 packages PXELINUX implementation, as in K12LTSP I believe. This method does not require explicitly specifying each workstation in the dhcpd.conf, and therefore does not get assigned a hostname at bootup ("Current hostname: "). Without a hostname assigned to the terminal, how does one refer to that terminal in lts.conf?
