i am using suse9.3 on ltsp i have hp 1022 Network printer . theres no
printer PPd for 1022 on suse9.3 only 1012, 1015 is there i download 1020 PPD
. All works fine for some days but aftre few days it prints blank pages . I
need to delete that setting and add new printer with sam settin
I just had a similar problem and I was missing the kernel module for lp0. Check the
log file on the server and see if any messages were logged. Mine was complaining about
the missing module.
The modules should be under (server view) /opt/ltsp/i386/lib/modules
On the client (runlevel 3) see if
Server Mandrake 9.0
Ltsp-core 3.0.7
Ltsp-kernel 3.0.5
Problem, I want to setup one of my clients as a print server. I added:
PRINTER_0_DEVICE = /dev/lp0
PRINTER_0_TYPE = P
PRINTER_0_PORT= 9100
PRINTER_0_WRITE_ONLY = Y
to my lts.conf file, so far so good I reboot the client and do:
ps -aux |grep l
