Hi list,
I am experiencing some quirks on 3.0 that other people have never reported
and that I have fixed myself, but I wanted the opinion of some LTSP gurus...
One is that with the original rc.local script and a self-built 2.4.9 + kernel
(that means 2.4.9 up) I was unable to mount the ext2 ramdisk, because I needed
to pass the option "-t ext2" to the mount command. Otherwise, it mounts the
ramdisk on /tmp, but every attempt to write a file on it results in a
"permission denied" message.
The other is that installing the original LTSP .deb package for XFree 4 gives
me a "Caught signal 11" error on the workstation, without any further messege.
I solved copying the entire XFree tree from the server to the /opt/ltsp....
tree.
Again, note that I'm in no hurry, I've already solved the two problems, I
just want some thoughts since I think they're pretty interesting ones, don't
you think?
