I have updated ROM-o-matic.net with Etherboot-5.3.7.

This is a development release of Etherboot with quite a bit of new functionality. Bug reports to Etherboot-Users are welcome. Reports of success, offers of help, and general questions are also welcome :)

Notable changes that affect ROM-o-matic.net are:

--- Etherboot-5.3.7 can load PXELINUX bootstrap images (e.g. PXELINUX.0) so if you're using PXELINUX to load your kernel because you have some motherboards and ethernet cards that support it, you can load kernels the same way with Etherboot. You can make an Etherboot floppy, for example, configure your DHCP server, and Etherboot will load PXELINUX.0, which will then load your kernel.

--- .liso image type support, which is the ability to make an ISO CD image like .iso, but with legacy floppy support. This should allow the .liso images to boot older PCs that do not have BIOSes that support the no-floppy-emulation .iso. If .iso doesn't work for you, try .liso.

Please join the appropriate mailing list to get help using Etherboot. There are lots of people willing to help you find your way.
