i think, i am, a bit improved in learning things.
actually i have two server computers, (& 5 thin clients) one with windows -
192.168.0.1 and other ubuntu 5.10 - 192.168.0.101 (- here is the mistake, i
did (i think))
later, after several installations, and several mails to the forums / lists,
i could not learn things
finally, i decided to change (on my own) the ip address to 192.168.0.2 of
the ubuntu server,
now, all my previous problems are solved, but i again i get caught here,
building the /tmp/xf86config-4 file
fatal server error,
cannot open log file "/var/log/Xorg.0.0.log"
....
....
xserver failed
note: there is no file in this name in my /var/log directory, but Xorg.0.log
exists
Please help me in this stage, really thanking u for giving me an opportunity
for developing my linux skills
please give me step by step clear instructions.
and if possible, in future, please take care of this ip problem, so that
entire setup shall work according to the desired ip address.
