Brent,
there is a document on the LTSP contrib page by Matthew Jachimstal
describing how to setup a usb mouse. I believe it is for an older
release of LTSP, but it should provide some helpful info.

Did you try setting:
X_MOUSE_BUTTONS = 3
in the lts.conf file ?
That should take care of it.
