I got my thin client to boot up to the gnome login screen, but it won't take
input from the keyboard.
What am I missing?
Also what are the X_MOUSE settings in lts.conf for a serial mouse?

you'll find that the first problem will go away.
Certain X servers behave that way, when the mouse
isn't available.
Take a look in the lts.conf.readme file for a complete
list of all available parameters for the lts.conf
file.

That usually happens when there's a problem with the mouse. The
settings for a serial mouse in lts.conf are:
X_MOUSE_DEVICE = /dev/ttySx #(replace with ttyS0, ttyS1, etc)
X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL = "Microsoft"
