Hello Everyone :-) i've been installing/setting up 3 ltsp machines already and i get this error repeated in all of them. just after the initial setup all works fine, printing with cups through one of the workstations and changing permissions on various files and folders through the kde's interface.
now, after updating (with yum) to kde 3.5 and some more cups , ghostscript packages. i sart getting errors. first, changing permissions of files and folder with the kde's (file-properties-permissions) dialog... i get an error dialog , but checking the file at the konsole shows it was updated with the new permission. i saw on kde-forums.org someone having the same issues http://www.kde-forum.org/artikel/14058/Problem-with-permission-in-kDE35.html maybe it's not ltsp related ? second, i get "gs renderer pipe broken" (form the cups log) when tring to send a print job to the same printer that was working before the package update. anyone have this issues too ? any ideas ? other then that (which is very minor) LTSP rocks !!! :-) ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
