After a day and a half trawling the 'net for answers, I thought I'd ask here.
I installed K12LTSP 3.1.1 on a decent server the other day, defaults all the way. The
client I'm testing with starts up great, gets through DHCP/TFTP, then brings up the
gdm login window. That's where the problem start
If the keyboard and mouse are locked when X runs, then it could
possibly be your mouse settings.
I've seen many times where an improperly configured mouse
will cause the keyboard to also be locked.
So, what kind of mouse is it ? (ps/2, serial, usb)
What port have you specified in lts.conf ?
