  But avoiding XDMCP in lts.conf seems to implicate more than a
  ssh-Tunnel for X (please correct me!):

       How could I avoid the use of local displaymanager "ldm" ?

  I need a chooser-menue that allows the thin-client to
  choose among several Linux- and Solaris-Servers as session-manager.
  (X -indirect x.x.x.x)


- Is there a doc about lts.conf in LTSP5 ?
- Is there a doc about services and startup-scripts on the client in
  order debug local-device-access?
