hi, id like to ask for advise on problems weve been experiencing with our ltsp server. the current setup is composed of 5 client machines running mozilla, openoffice, gnome, tuxpaint/tuxmath (edutainment packages) and the server has 1 GB (which also has squid installed in it). After running for 2-4 hours the server either restarts or hangs (kernel panic). physical memory is almost consumed (30 mb left) but swap file is used sparingly (about 800 MB left). Log files also show oops code and/ or memory.c errors has anyone had similar situation ... pls give advise on possible sources of the problem. Ive already tried MemTest86, fsck, moving swap to a temporary file, upgrading of kernel to 2.4.20-20
