George, You are missing the tftp-server package. My rpm -qa shows this: [root@p4 root]# rpm -qa | grep tftp tftp-server-0.29-3 tftp-0.29-3 Install the tftp-server pkg, and then you will have the /etc/xinetd.d/tftp file. Then, once it is installed, make sure you enable tftp and restart xinet

Running RedHat 8.0 All seems to go well on the client until: loading 192.168.100.254:/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.19-ltsp-1 . rpm -qa | grep tftpshows: tftp-0.29-3 chkconfig --list|grep tftpsimply displays the next command line There is not file/etc/xinetd.d/tftp How do I setup to start
