Was LTSP-4.0 running on FC5, or did you also upgrade to FC5 at the same
time.
The fact that you don't see messages in the log file where it's trying
to download the config file tells me that it might be going to a
different server to get the config file.

I just upgrade to ltsp 4.2 on a fc5 box which was running fine on ltsp
4.0. sine then, when I boot the termial via pxe, I get to the point
where tftp try to load the kernel and count down the file name
